It comes as no surprise that, following a number of highly publicised bouncy castle and inflatable equipment related incidents in 2016, Health and Safety is at the forefront for local councils, schools, charities and the general public. However, for an industry which has been poorly regulated in the past, and given the apparent lack of knowledge surrounding current HSE guidelines it is a concern that many companies and users continue to ignore the rules.
Since Bouncy Castle and Inflatable Play Equipment Hire should be fun and free of any risks to user safety, Crown Castles Bouncy Castle and Inflatable Hire directors have made the decision to review the company approach when it comes to Health and Safety.
Despite an existing internal policy which we believe adequately addresses all risks and hazards associated with the hire of our bouncy castle and inflatable play equipment, it is our view that these policies are not freely available to the public. More importantly, these policies are not a general consideration in the decision making process of our customers. Therefore, it is our 2017 resolution to offer a simplified approach that highlights the difference between reputable bouncy castle and inflatable play businesses and ensures that all potential customers and visitors are compliant.
So what have we done so far and where do we need to be??
